J. Jonah Jameson had just walked out of the room.

Jameson had seen too many masked heroes to care that the other man refused to show his real face. All he cared about was what information the man would reveal and whether it confirmed some of his suspicions.
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Mysterio. If there are no issues, let's begin."
As usual, Jameson started by asking several common questions: where he came from, what abilities he had, what dangerous incidents he had dealt with before, what kind of person he considered himself, and so on.
Mysterio's answers were a complete mess.
If Jameson had to use one word to describe this newly appeared superhero, it would be "hypocritical."
Mysterio was clearly not sincere. As a seasoned media professional, Jameson could accurately sense that he was hiding something. And it was not even a particularly clever concealment—he was simply full of lies.
So he really did have a problem. Jameson confirmed it. He knew all too well how to deal with people who lied through their teeth. Once the routine questions were over, Jameson began to reveal his aggression step by step.
He did not immediately ask about the space station. Instead, he followed up on Mysterio's claimed origins—his so-called elemental powers. He asked when Mysterio had acquired them, how many kinds of powers he possessed, and how he usually trained them.
Through those questions, Jameson became even more certain that this man was not only a hypocritical liar, but also a stupid egomaniac.
