That was right. For some reason, Robins had suddenly kidnapped Sandman, locked him up, and seemingly hypnotized him, ultimately causing Sandman to lose control.

So, looking at it that way, the source should still have been Robins. But the question was, had Robins kidnapped Sandman, or had Sandman kidnapped Robins? No one knew.

Perhaps in their respective memories, the event had been completely reversed. And because the contamination itself could affect the mind, they might have believed their own memories completely, even though those memories had already been altered.

In other words, it was also possible that Sandman had kidnapped Robins, contaminated him, then released him while pretending to be the kidnapped victim. Their suspicions were therefore roughly equal.

But after thinking it over carefully, Schiller felt something was off again. The incident involving Robins and Sandman had not happened first. The earliest event should have been Mysterio changing identities and forming a team.

Or rather, according to the timeline, Mysterio's flawless identity change had been the earliest event. Two people had participated in it: Mysterio and Sophia. That meant their suspicions were equal as well.

Based on Schiller's own observations, Sophia should have been controlling Mysterio. But it was hard to say whether the two had been putting on an act together, or whether they themselves had failed to notice anything wrong with their memories.

But after giving it more thought, Schiller still felt something was wrong. He felt he must have overlooked something, some detail he had failed to consider. He could not simply narrow the suspects down to those four.

Since working forward did not work, he would work backward. Schiller had now roughly guessed who the contaminant had come from. If it really was that piece of shit, how had it gotten in?
