Schiller received an unexpected visitor in his office in Battleworld: Peter, who had knocked on the door from the Time Variance Authority.
Because Schiller now held several positions—or rather, Greed did—several places where he frequently appeared had been connected. Greed's room in the High Tower of the Mind, offices at Arkham Asylum, S.H.I.E.L.D., Battleworld, the Time Variance Authority, and the Information Bureau were all linked. As long as someone was looking for him in one office, he could be transferred at any time to whichever office had visitors.
That also meant that even if Pride was controlling the body, anyone with an urgent matter could go directly to Greed's room in the High Tower to find Greed. It could not be helped. Battleworld was a major undertaking, and if anything unexpected happened, someone had to be able to reach him immediately.
Peter entered wearing glasses and greeted Schiller. He seemed to be in quite a good mood. Schiller observed him for a moment and said, "Why did you come over at this hour?"
"I brought you two pieces of good news, Doctor. One of them is something you'll never expect." Peter smiled as he sat down on the sofa and beckoned Schiller over.
Schiller did not hurry over. Peter opened the newspaper in his hands and said, "Look, this is Jameson's report. He thinks very highly of Miles. He says Miles might become the best Spider-Man in history. He really has done a great job, hasn't he?"
Schiller went to make coffee and said as he started the machine, "You gave Miles your abilities while your emotions were being affected. Don't you intend to take them back?"
"Of course not, Doctor." Peter thought for a moment, not because he was wavering, but because he was considering how to put it.
