Jerome's twin brother felt somewhat puzzled. This counterattack was hardly forceful enough. If Schiller could produce some super bomb and blow up the restaurant along with the entire hotel, Jerome's twin brother would believe it; this guy was far more powerful than ordinary people could imagine.

But he had not done that. He had produced what looked like an utterly ordinary little flame. There was no earth-shaking disaster, nowhere near enough to be considered a devastating blow against the enemy. Yet Cobblepot, who had remained unseen after listening to Schiller's entire analysis from the kitchen, appeared just like that.

"Long time no see, Jerome's twin brother." The face on the ceiling remained gloomy, with drooping eyes, downturned lips, and an especially conspicuous hooked nose.

"How did you two meet?" Schiller asked.

"You could say we got acquainted through fighting." Jerome's twin brother answered vaguely. "We just happened to meet."

"His brother caused me plenty of trouble." Cobblepot did not care about Jerome's twin brother's attempt to conceal things and exposed him directly. "Your brother is much smarter than you. Tell me, if I killed you here, what would he do?"

Jerome's twin brother raised his head and glared viciously at the ceiling, but said nothing. Cobblepot turned his gaze toward Schiller.

"Put out the fire." His threat did not sound particularly forceful, but it carried a sinister, cunning edge.

"I have a way to put the snake back together now. Would you like to try it?" Schiller changed the subject, as though he simply could not understand human speech. Cobblepot stared coldly at him, but Schiller had never lost a single standoff.

"Who are they?" Schiller asked. Then he added, "If you won't tell me, I'll have to make a guess."

Jerome's twin brother immediately began signaling frantically at Cobblepot
