The group discussion soon ended. Greed pushed up his glasses and said, "Next, each discipline will offer its consultation opinion. We'll start with psychoanalysis."
Pride maintained the same posture and barely glanced at the materials in his hand. After a moment's thought, he said, "There really isn't much to analyze about Martha's psyche. All that can be said is that she was a fairly traditional woman from an elite educational background—a wealthy man's wife and a mother who dearly loved her son."
"Her elite education made her value etiquette and rules. She could be called law-abiding, self-disciplined, and proper. After marrying Thomas, she followed his lead and did not interfere with Wayne Enterprises' general business direction. However, thanks to her strong educational background, she could offer Thomas useful advice and provide him with immense emotional support."
"She was undoubtedly fond of children and placed great hopes in the child she carried, filled with love and anticipation. She showed no particular religious inclination. Though she acted devoutly for social occasions, inwardly she leaned more toward atheism."
Greed suddenly rapped the table with the documents. "Are you really padding your word count? Get to the point!"
"All right. Martha's state in the hotel room indicated that she suffered from long-term anxiety. What I mean is, at that point in time, she was not truly panicked. She even felt a degree of security."
This was clearly a highly counterintuitive answer. The other personality traits all looked toward Pride. Although they knew psychoanalysis was usually baseless nonsense, they also knew that if Pride said something like this, he was certainly confident he could persuade the others.
"Let's straighten out the timeline first." Pride suddenly raised a finger. "Which stage of her illness do you think Martha was in when she went to the hotel?"
