Most of Schiller's personality traits had gathered together.
That was actually because they had occupied favorable terrain. There was an exceptionally tall tree in the forest above the cliff, and since they were all the same person, they thought alike and all headed for that tree. Before long, they had run into one another.
Because they had stayed together while adjusting their bodies earlier, Greed had already discussed their opening strategy with them. Put simply: cut costs, maximize gains, and go all in.
The other Schillers also agreed not to spend points on anything except draws. If they needed items, they could use item exchange vouchers. Those were available in the prize pool too, so there was no shortage of them. There was no need to spend precious points buying items.
But they now faced a problem: they needed to build a base, and that damned profiteering system did not even offer base material packs for free. Even a standard rebar concrete construction pack cost 100 points, and one pack was only enough to build a small villa.
They could each use 100 of their starting points to build a house, but that would be inconvenient. Besides, the basic material packs would only produce unfinished buildings. To live comfortably, they would also have to spend more money on furniture packs.
The other Schillers complained bitterly about Greed. "Look at this lousy system you designed. Why don't you just rob us?"
Naturally, Greed had a perfectly justified rebuttal. "You know I'm Greed, yet you still assigned me to develop a paid system. Isn't getting sheared exactly what you deserved?"
The other personality traits were left speechless. Only Pride saw that Greed must have already had a solution, so he said, "Stop being mysterious. I can't stand around here any longer."
