"I'd heard long ago that you came from under Mama Luck. How do we know you didn't kidnap this little girl?"

"I kidnapped her??" Catwoman raised her voice. "Do you know how much I've done for her? Do you know I've practically worked myself to death these past few days? Cut the crap and give her back!"

Jason had no desire to clash with the legendary cat burglar, but for some reason, he simply refused to back down. Red Truck pulled out a pistol and aimed it at Catwoman. Jason turned to watch him and said, "Hey, man! Don't use a gun. You can't hit Black Cat!"

"No way. My aim is excellent."

As he spoke, Red Truck pulled the trigger. With a sharp bang, Catwoman vanished in an instant. Then a black whip coiled around Red Truck's wrist and yanked hard, dragging him to the ground and sending the pistol flying.

Jason reacted quickly. He lunged forward and caught the flying pistol, then continued pointing it at Catwoman, who had leaped onto the second floor.

"Even if I'm not exactly a good person either, The Rolling Heads Gang supports more than a dozen kids. I know how badly they have it, but you actually wanted to sell a rich kid's child to the Slums. You really are..."

Catwoman sighed. She realized there was simply no reasoning with this group of children.

She still had a strange feeling in her heart. Though she and Jason were on opposing sides right now, seeing someone protect Aisha so fiercely made her oddly happy.

Catwoman was in a fairly good mood, so she did not hit too hard. A few cracks of her whip knocked them all down, and she tied them up. When Aisha saw Catwoman, she was not afraid at all.
