The two entered the sightseeing elevator through the rooftop door. Dick stood behind Schiller, rubbing his chest as nausea rose in him. His expression was a mixture of disgust, revulsion, and disbelief.
"You've never dealt with Constantine?" Schiller asked.
Dick shook his head. "I've had contact with the Dark Justice League a few times, but Constantine wasn't the one I dealt with. He's visited the Batcave too, but Batman had sent me out on a mission at the time."
"Who usually talks to him?"
"Damian... Oh, wait, Batman did that on purpose, didn't he?"
"Yes. Constantine has no interest in children. He likes sturdy adults. More precisely, it doesn't even have to be humans. Sharks and lizards work too."
Dick felt as though his worldview had been shattered. "So Batman sends all of us away before Constantine arrives so he won't disgust us, leaving only Damian to deal with him?"
"He can do more than disgust you." Schiller shook his head. "No one associated with that man ends up well. You'd better stay far away from him in the future too."
Dick nodded blankly. He clearly needed time to accept this horrifying fact—there were plenty of people interested in the Bat-family, but this was the first time Dick had heard of someone being interested in them from that angle.
Entirely unsurprisingly, Constantine's last remark provoked the Arkham Knight again. The muzzle of his gun was already pressed against Constantine's forehead.
