But the problem was that she seemed like a collection of stereotypes about female superheroes. When people first saw her, what they felt was her beauty rather than her strength.

Take a superhero like Wonder Woman. If one looked closely, she was indeed beautiful, but most people who faced her would not dare look too closely. She was incredibly strong and imposing; people's first impression of her was always that she was powerful, fierce, and not someone to be trifled with.

To give a simple example, regardless of gender, once someone had been a police officer for long enough, no matter how stunningly beautiful they were, they would possess an authority that others lacked. Every movement and every word from them made people want to piss themselves.

Even female heroes with superpowers looked fierce. For a female hero without superpowers to become world-famous, the effort and tempering required were simply unimaginable. They would surely be brave, wild, and unyielding—not like flowers raised in a greenhouse.

There was no need to use Wonder Woman as a comparison. Put Cassandra and this Starfire side by side, and the difference was obvious. Cassandra was as sharp as a blade; merely looking at her made one feel as though a dagger had already pressed against one's chest.

In contrast, this Starfire looked more like a superhero fan—or simply a streamer. She had the appearance, but none of the spirit.
