When Tim came downstairs, he saw Dick and Raven changing shoes in the entryway. A small purple cage sat on the table beside the door, containing a ball of fur so fluffy that it was impossible to tell its head from its tail. Still, Tim vaguely recognized it as the Siberian Forest Cat kitten from the photo Dick had sent him.
Dick and Raven were still enthusiastically describing every detail of adopting and caring for the cat together. The two young first-time pet owners were clearly excited. From buying all kinds of pet supplies to counting how much fur it shed each day, they looked like they could talk for hours.
