Brand took the rag doll from Miss Richie. Seeing the umbrella clenched tightly in her hand, he naturally understood that this was Schiller's idea. He sighed, waved to Miss Richie, and told her to come with him.

They went to the site of the previous summoning ritual. There were still some materials left, just enough to perform it one more time.

Just as they were about to begin, Schiller returned. Brand seemed puzzled as to why he was there, but Schiller merely shook his head and said nothing, signaling for him to hurry up and begin.

After the summoning ritual began, the runes gradually lit up, and a transparent phantom appeared in the center of the magic circle.

Miss Richie immediately let out a sharp wail. She rushed forward, trying to embrace her sister, but failed, because it was only a soul's phantom, with no physical form at all.

The soul phantom was drawn to the rag doll and slowly bent down to pick it up, but her fingers passed through the fabric. Only then did the soul suddenly awaken, as though realizing she was already dead.

She had just been about to let out a resentful cry when she saw Miss Richie collapsed before her. Brand sighed and said, "Hello, ma'am. We called you back because we wanted to ask you a few questions."

The phantom did not reply. She only reached out, trying to help her sister up. Miss Richie finally pulled herself together, stood up, wiped away her tears, and looked at her sister, who resembled her so closely. "Long time no see, Mana. I'm sorry, but you're already dead. We performed a summoning ritual to call you back because we wanted to know how you died. Did that damned bastard kill you?!"
