Batman entered the room first, with Gordon following behind him. The scene inside was indeed bizarre. Aside from Schiller, who stood in the middle holding an umbrella, there was a blond man who looked excessively debauched, a black book floating in his hand. Jason, Dick, and Little Rascal, the three children, were sitting sprawled on the floor at the far end of the room, while a strange altar stood on the right side.
After they entered, Schiller walked over to the demon he had slapped onto the wall, examined it, and said, "This is Mrs. Sanchez, isn't it?"
Gordon looked utterly confused. "Mrs. Sanchez? Wasn't she already dead?"
Constantine walked over to the monster. Chains flew from the book in his hand and bound it in place. Gordon glanced again at the children lying on the floor and said, "Can someone explain what exactly is going on here?"
"Enough." Schiller raised his voice, then tapped the floor with his umbrella. "Come on, one at a time. You start."
As he spoke, he pointed at Jason and Dick. Dick looked at the umbrella before him—the one that could swat a monster into a wall so hard it could not be peeled off—and swallowed before obediently beginning his account.
