Bruce was driving to the hospital when he received a call from James Gordon. He heard Gordon say over the phone,
"You're finally back, Bruce. Get to the precinct, now. There's a strange case here. You need to take a look."
"Come on, Gordon, I've only just gotten back... Fine. How strange?"
"One of the criminals we caught was brutally killed in the prison van on the way to court. Someone left a strange string of characters on the wall of the van. We don't have any experts in Cipher Decryption here. You'd better come take a look."
With a helpless sigh, Bruce turned the wheel and headed toward the precinct.
When he arrived, a young officer at the entrance tried to stop him, but an older officer waved him through. He made his way to the spacious rear yard of the precinct, where a prison van bearing court insignia was parked. Gordon and his subordinates were standing beside it.
"God, you're finally here." Gordon wiped his forehead and said, "You have no idea how much pressure I've been under whenever a case comes up and you're not around, and I have to go find Schiller. Even little Jennie can't soothe my heart."
"I haven't congratulated you on your new daughter yet." Bruce stepped forward and hugged Gordon, then said, "I'll send over the twenty children's slides I prepared for Aisha. She'll use them eventually."
Then Bruce turned his attention to the prison van. The moment the door opened, a heavy stench of blood hit him. The body had clearly already been taken away for an autopsy, but there were no markings showing where it had been.
"It's hard to explain where the body was." Gordon shook his head. "If I had to put it into words, it was basically
