Jena had never hated her sensitivity so much.

She began to tremble slightly, struggling to breathe, yet she looked very much like she was having a panic attack.

In fact, she might really have been having a panic attack. She had simply never experienced such a feeling before, so she did not know what exactly she was going through.

She only felt as though a steel nail had been driven into her body, as if she were an insect specimen pinned in place. Being displayed so completely filled her with terror, but she could not move.

After Schiller withdrew his gaze, that pinned-down feeling vanished. Jena let out a long breath and realized that cold sweat had already soaked her back.

She braced both hands against the desk and lowered her head forcefully, trying to keep the others from noticing anything unusual.

Unfortunately, the group trying to isolate her had been watching her all along.

Jena gave a bitter smile inwardly. They must have thought she was fragile, that merely being isolated had frightened her this badly. They were surely pleased with themselves, believing they had punished a cheater.

Sometimes, ignorance really was a blessing. They had no idea what they were about to face.

They could not see the elephant in the room.

Suddenly, anger rose in Jena's heart as well. None of this had been her choice. Neither her powerful Mental Analysis Talent, nor her interest in Behavior Analysis, nor the outcome caused by the interaction of the two—it was not her fault.

Then why did someone want to punish her?

In that case, she was no defenseless soft target. Since only she could see the lion's fangs, while everyone else thought she was afraid of her peers, why not carry this act through to the end?
