Schiller sat in his office at Arkham Asylum, scrolling through short videos on his phone, when the door burst open with a bang and Peter rushed in like a whirlwind.
"Doctor! Doctor! Hurry and take a look at this!" Peter shoved his phone in front of Schiller. "What do you think of this giant balloon? It'd be so cool at a wedding!"
Schiller glanced at it and saw one of those viral online wedding videos. They had set up a giant balloon capable of lifting people into the air, with "Fly, My Love" written on it. Then the bride and groom slowly floated toward each other.
"All I know is that if you put that thing at the wedding, Uncle Stark will shoot you," Schiller said.
"Ah!" Peter threw back his head with a miserable wail and collapsed onto the nearby sofa, limp as a puddle of mud.
"Instead of wasting time on this, you should go check the guest list again. You may not have many guests on your side, but it'll still be troublesome if you get anything wrong," Schiller reminded him for what felt like the hundredth time.
"I should never have gotten involved in this!" Peter sprawled across the sofa. "Gwen and I are both nervous to death."
Schiller sighed. This all had to start with Stark's wedding.
Stark had already sent out all the invitations, set the date, and was about to hold the ceremony when Steve's girlfriend, Carter, got pregnant.
Normally, that would not have been a big deal. At most, they would just need to be careful at the wedding and make sure she did not get bumped into.
