Schiller heard Peter swallow on the other end of the phone. Spider-Man's rather flustered voice came through. "Mr. Schiller, you'd better... come over..."

Strange directly opened a portal. Before Schiller had even hung up, Strange stepped through it, and then Schiller heard him curse.

Curious, Schiller looked toward the other side of the portal, but saw nothing. Strange's voice rang out from beyond it. "Schiller, get over here!"

Neither Peter nor Strange was the sort to curse. For both of them to swear at once, Schiller became rather curious about who was on the other side.

After he stepped through the portal, he froze as well. Looking at the girl before him, Schiller took a deep breath and said, "...Loki?!"

That was right. The girl in black robes standing before him was Loki—or rather, Loki as a woman.

If she had merely been a gender-swapped Loki, Schiller would not have been this surprised. He knew that in the comics, Loki had transformed into a woman several times; or rather, his gender itself was fluid.
