On a sunny day in California, Schiller was harvesting a new batch of vegetables in his farm's garden. The cabbages had grown wonderfully, and the lettuce and Chinese cabbage were doing well too. Tomatoes needed a longer growing cycle; red and green fruits hung among the trellises, looking especially appealing.
The Robins had come here for another vacation. No one could dislike California's sunshine and seawater, and no one could refuse the chance to renovate a farm with their own hands. Schiller's purpose in buying this farm had been fully realized.
To develop their practical skills, Schiller had given them a very limited budget. The kids had to use a total budget of fifty thousand dollars to transform the farm into whatever they wanted it to be.
There were especially many participants this time. Besides Dick, Jason, and Tim, Pamela had come as well. After acting as a middleman between two universes, she finally had some spare cash. She no longer had to work three jobs a day to repay her student loans, and she felt it was time to give herself a proper vacation, so she came.
Harley was of course involved too. She was currently helping the Mutants manage the Andromeda galaxy, using Magneto's plundered startup capital to make major investments in interstellar finance. Initial results had already appeared, bringing many high-quality industries to the Mutants.
Since she was not responsible for guarding or fighting, it made no difference where she worked. For safety reasons, Professor X had not allowed her to stay in the Andromeda galaxy and instead had her work remotely from Earth.
Barry had entered his internship phase. Besides completing his required internship hours in his own universe, he hoped to receive more supervision from Schiller, so he came along too.
Then there were Cassandra
