"What the hell happened?! Why did this happen???" A roar of near-fury echoed through the office. Batman stood in the middle of the room, almost out of his mind.

Fox stood behind him, and beside Fox was a woman in a white coat. She held a stack of examination reports.

"Calm down, Bruce. Things haven't deteriorated beyond all hope, but you need some time."

Her voice was steady, as though everyone could draw strength from her words. When Batman turned to look at her, he saw nothing but calm in those deep brown eyes.

He seemed to suddenly deflate. Covering one eye with the heel of his palm, he said, "Sorry, ma'am. I'm just... very sad."

The woman stepped forward and patted Batman on the shoulder, and Batman did not even dodge away. She set the documents in her hands aside and said, "Mr. Todd's situation is rather unusual. It seems that he has closed off his own heart. If he is unwilling to unlock it himself, then all psychological treatment will be meaningless to him."
