When Schiller returned to Asgard Palace, quite a few changes had taken place. Odin and Frigga had moved to Vanaheim. Thor and Sif had renovated the palace according to their preferences. Though it still retained Asgard's resplendent gold and grandeur, some details had changed.
The Asgard Main Hall, once used to muster troops and swear oaths, had been remodeled purely for decoration. Its magnificence had gained a touch of intricate splendor. As the first stop for important guests, it allowed them to fully appreciate Asgard's achievements in architectural art.
The former reception hall had been turned into an elevator lobby, complete with an enormous scenic elevator. When Schiller stepped inside, he found it excessively spacious. He later learned that it had been built to receive larger species from across the stars.
Interestingly, the Three Great Empires and Asgard's primary species were considered rather small in the universe. Most races ranged from three to five meters tall, with humanoid and non-humanoid races making up roughly a six-to-four ratio. In other words, there were quite a few non-humanoid species whose size could not be measured simply by height and weight.
Of course, there were also some colossal species that could reach dozens of meters in height. There were even gaseous species whose bodies could cover several kilometers.
Now that Asgard had restored normal diplomatic relations, it naturally had to adapt its facilities to accommodate the various species of the universe. The elevators were one such example.
To test the elevator's convenience, Schiller deliberately transformed into Gray Mist. Gray Mist thought it was quite good, but he still said that if he wanted to truly stretch his legs, they would probably need to build an elevator as large as the Nine Realms.
The sleeping quarters inside Asgard Palace had changed as well. Originally,
