Ding-a-ling. The wind chime hanging above the hospital entrance swayed gently. Then came a loud bang as a boot kicked the door open.
Loki, who was answering the phone behind the counter, and Schiller, who was helping Wanda administer an IV to a patient, both turned toward the hospital entrance. They both wanted to see who was being so brazen.
When they saw the striking red hair and a face as beautiful as a ghost's, they silently turned back around.
The patients in the ward, especially the human ones, could not look away. They stared fixedly at the woman entering the hospital. When they saw the tall figure behind her, some of them fearfully drew their necks back.
Loki's brow furrowed slightly when he saw the man. At that moment, Thor walked over from the nearby Inpatient Department. He reached out to close the door, then spotted the man standing behind Natasha.
"Thor!" Loki called out hurriedly. He recognized Batman and sensed the unusual danger radiating from him. Thinking of Thor's battle-hungry nature, he could not help showing concern.
Fortunately, Thor's attention was immediately drawn to Loki. He made his way through the crowd and asked, "What is it?"
"How is that patient doing?" Loki casually picked a topic and began talking to him. Meanwhile, Natasha had already crossed the lobby and arrived at the IV area nearby.
Schiller had spent the entire night speaking at length with Manny, the little girl's ghost. In the end, Manny agreed to help Schiller expand the hospital. In exchange, Schiller had to help her fulfill her wish.
The Triage Room had now become the hospital lobby. To the left of the entrance was the triage desk; straight ahead was the IV area; and on the right was a door leading to the Inpatient
