Stark got out of the car and surveyed the house before him. It was a very typical American villa: the house was divided into two sections, with the main structure on the left and the garage on the right; it had a sky-blue roof and white walls. Since it stood right at the corner of a street, its yard was considerably larger than those of the other houses.
Stark walked to the trunk, took out the pet carrier, and went over to ring the doorbell. Before long, the door opened, and the Scarlet Witch emerged in a white knit top and black wide-legged pants.
"Oh, God, I thought you'd be stuck in traffic for a while." Wanda opened the gate for Stark, and he stepped into the yard, looking around.
"This is your first time here, isn't it?" Wanda said with a smile. "We only moved here from the Bronx recently. The Parkers' house is just two streets over. Lots of Spider-Men come and go around here, so security is much better than elsewhere. Housing prices have even gone up."
"You and Peter became neighbors?" Stark asked in surprise. "Didn't they move here not long ago too?"
"How could that be? They've lived here for two or three years." Wanda pulled open the front door and invited Stark inside.
Wanda's home had a classic layout as well. Past the front door was a small hallway, followed by the living room and an open kitchen; the door on the right led to the dining room, the bathroom was on the other side of the living room, and all the bedrooms were upstairs.
The house was not very large, but it was kept in immaculate order. The hooks on the kitchen walls held cookware in matching colors, and the bowls and plates
