Victor stared dumbfoundedly at the little girl sitting on the sofa in Schiller's office, eating snacks.

"Where did you get another one from?!"

That was right, this little girl was not Aisha. Aisha was sitting on the carpet beside her, opening the packaging on the latest building-block toy.

"Why are you so nervous? She's not for you." Schiller was typing on his keyboard, replying to emails. After a day, quite a few emails from students had piled up again.

"But..."

"How is Billy?" Schiller asked.

"Not good." Victor paused before saying, "The examination found that his bones really have been affected. If this keeps up, he may develop bone cancer. I contacted Madame Xanadu at Gotham Magic Academy, and we're trying to figure something out."

"You decided to adopt him?"

"Yes. He's actually a pretty good kid. If it weren't for that damn Old Shazam... Forget it, I won't bring it up. If he dares show up, I'll smash his head in with an ice pick!"

Then his gaze fell on the little girl again. "Who are you planning to give her to this time?"

Schiller shook his head without speaking. He shut down the computer first, then walked over and scooped Aisha up from the floor, placing her on the sofa.

Aisha squirmed, somewhat unwilling, but her attention remained entirely on the toy in her hands. The other little girl was about the same age and size as her, except her eyes were green.

"All right, Aisha. We need to take Betty for an examination. Bring the toy with you; she may have to stay there for a while."

Aisha nodded, stuffed the blocks she had just unpacked back into the box all at once, then crammed the snacks they had been eating into her little bag as well
