Injustice Batman and Injustice Superman had wanted to ask Oliver for a way to contact him, but Oliver shook his head. "Once you get there, the professor will contact you himself. Go."

The two could only give up and head for Gotham as quickly as possible.

After arriving in Gotham, no one contacted them. But Batman was Batman, after all, and that was not enough to stump him.

The two found a hotel. Batman booked a room under the name Bruce Wayne, handed the keycard to Injustice Superman, and said, "Go to sleep."

Injustice Superman sneered. "I never thought the first item on one of Batman's missions would be sleeping."

"I never thought that when you explained being late to Justice League meetings by claiming your Alarm Clock had broken, you'd sound so convincing."

Hearing him expose his dirty laundry, Injustice Superman merely snorted. But as they entered the elevator, Injustice Batman smiled and said, "I once suggested to Lois that she throw out that useless Alarm Clock and buy a new one. Guess what she said?"

As soon as Injustice Batman finished speaking, the elevator doors closed. Injustice Superman stood stiffly at the entrance.

He had not expected Batman to mention Lois.

No one dared mention that name in front of him.
