"Schiller, you bastard!"

The moment the voice came from the office door, Schiller knew who had arrived. Sure enough, Jonathan Crane angrily shoved open the door, then plopped down in the chair across from Schiller.

"When the aliens invaded before, you actually wanted me to take the blame for you! Do you know how annoying that damned Ma'lfak was?! You're a Psychology Professor, yet instead of dealing with a mind reader, you sent me! Is there any justice left in this world?!"

"I never made you go." Schiller leisurely took a fountain pen from the pen holder and said, "Ma'lfak came looking for you himself. It had nothing to do with me."

"If you hadn't misled him..."

"Why was I able to mislead him?"

"Because that damned Batman thought I was..."

"Then why did Batman think you were a professor?"

Jonathan choked on his words. Why else? Because of that little prank he had pulled at the banquet.

"Fine, you're unharmed, aren't you?" Schiller said as he scribbled on a sheet of paper. "I do have a part-time opportunity here. Interested?"

"What do you want me to do this time?" Jonathan immediately went on high alert. Could anything good possibly come out of Schiller's office?

Schiller seemed to know what he was thinking. Without looking up, he said, "This time, it really is a good thing. A generous young lady is offering an annual salary of five hundred thousand dollars for members of a certain evil organization. Aren't you going to apply?"

"An evil organization? The Justice League?" Jonathan raised one eyebrow high.

"Do you hear yourself?" Schiller shot him a helpless glance. "It's called the Justice League. How could it be an evil organization?"

"Tch! Haven't you been on the Web lately? The Justice League is getting absolutely torn
