Schiller first used the remaining plastic sheeting to make a pair of simple water shoes. The plastic wrapped up to his knees, keeping water from splashing onto his pants.

Then he began running water over the bathroom tiles. As far as he knew, the new campus had excellent waterproofing. Every area that needed water had been meticulously sealed, so it was unlikely to leak directly downstairs.

With both faucets running, the water rose quickly. Once it covered the tops of his feet, Schiller poured in the detergent.

He spread the carpet flat, picked up a brush, and began scrubbing.

There was quite a bit of blood on the carpet, but it was fresh blood, not old, embedded grime. It had not seeped into every crevice of the carpet, and after a few scrubs, it all came out.

With the help of the powerful cleaner, the blood soon vanished without a trace. Once he was done scrubbing, Schiller opened the bathroom drain, let the water out, and set the carpet aside to dry.

When he returned to the room, Victor had nearly finished rinsing down the floor and furniture. Schiller turned down the pressure on the water gun, added cleaner to its tank, and began spraying the floor.

After spraying it once, he went over it with a squeegee. Then he rinsed it again with the water gun, and the floor was basically clean.

The walls were more troublesome. The wall beneath the window was covered in blood, and there were no wall panels or other decorations—just an ordinary white wall. The blood had soaked completely into it.
