Because he had to teach introductory courses again, Schiller had no choice but to dig out lesson plans from long ago. He had basically forgotten everything in them, and some of the theories now seemed outdated, so he had been busy revising them lately.

Besides, his doctoral and graduate students apparently felt that they had dragged their theses out for far too long and finally grew a conscience. Several of the versions they had sent him recently contained major revisions. Even though graduation was still nowhere in sight, Schiller had to respond seriously, even if it was only for appearances' sake.

Because he really had been working seriously, Brainiac had not caused him any trouble. But several days of continuous work had sent Schiller's stress levels soaring. He felt that if he kept working like this, the incoming freshmen would face an unprecedented storm by the time they arrived.

Just then, a call from Harley saved him.

"Hello? Professor? The Tomorrow Alliance has a meeting tonight. Are you coming?"

"Of course." Schiller swiftly shut his computer and said, "No need to wait until tonight. I'm heading over now."

Ignoring Brainiac's shouts, Schiller rushed out the door, drove to the mansion by Gotham River, and arrived in no time.

Even so, he was apparently late. By the time he got there, everyone was nearly assembled. Harley, who had organized the meeting, had not arrived yet, but Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Joker, Killer Croc, and the others were all there.

With that kind of enthusiasm, Harley might have been the most influential Harley Quinn in the entire Multiverse.

The moment Schiller entered, he heard Jonathan complaining, "God, why do I have to teach introductory psychology too?! You have no idea how furious those students made Schiller back then..."
