Pamela gathered her thoughts and looked at the screen again. Amanda said, "We've already identified the location from the background of their livestream. It's an Abandoned Factory in the West End—the same place where Team One encountered Joker before."
"Previous intelligence showed that the liquid in the chemical pools is highly corrosive. Falling in means certain death. We can't expect any mercy from that lunatic, so we'd better get there quickly and save them. That'll also reinforce the investors' confidence."
"Now, I'll assign the combat tasks..."
Amanda picked up a layout map of the factory grounds and began explaining her tactical deployment, making the actual Tactical master Batman and Deathstroke frown repeatedly.
Honestly, Amanda's tactical ability was terrible. Her plan was obviously the kind of assault strategy taught in agent school. Put simply, kick down the door, suppress with firepower, shoot everyone still breathing, then send in agents to clean up.
You didn't even need a Tactical master to tell that the plan was bad. Any normal person with a functioning brain could hear the problem. Never mind whether Harley Quinn had some other scheme—just emptying magazines like that was already unworkable.
The factory might have been spacious, but it still contained other equipment. What if they blew something up? What if sparks from the bullets ignited flammable materials?
And the ground was hard concrete while the walls were sheet metal. How many ricocheting stray bullets would a burst like that create?
The hostages were all fragile human beings. If a stray bullet hit someone in the heart, lungs, or brain, wouldn't this rescue operation be rescuing nothing at all?
Deathstroke was about to speak when Pamela tugged at him. She gently shook her head.
After thinking it over, he agreed. Harley had wanted to be captured anyway, so she
