In S.H.I.E.L.D.'s office, Schiller took the orange cat from Captain Marvel, scratched its head, and softly called its name. Gugu the Flerken cooperatively responded with a purr.
"These little furballs are shedding again." Captain Marvel sounded rather helpless. "I took it to the space station before, and its fur drifted into some important experimental equipment, causing a huge mess. Then I sent it to Mercury Base, where it swallowed an entire warehouse of experimental samples. It really knows how to cause trouble..."
"Cats are all like that." Nick leaned against the wall with his arms crossed and shrugged. "At least they don't need to be neutered, and they don't pee and poop everywhere. The corgi Coulson adopted recently has already made him replace the carpets in his house twice."
"Then you ought to get ten or twenty of them," Schiller said as he petted the cat. "That way, you could replace ten high-tech nano-micromolecular fabric sofas a day and rack up quite a reimbursement bill."

Schiller left S.H.I.E.L.D. carrying the cat and spotted Wanda's car as soon as he stepped outside. He walked over and opened the door. Before he could even sit down, three kittens scrambled up the back of the passenger seat. Once he had taken his seat, the three little furballs climbed up his neck and onto the top of his head. Schiller frantically pulled them down, but he still could not stop cat hair from getting all over his face.
"They're shedding lately," Wanda said as she drove. "There's fur everywhere at home. Luckily, my robot vacuum doesn't have an exhaust vent, or it would definitely get clogged."
Schiller recalled that robot vacuum
