The even better news was that the Magellan-class capital ship's shield had not shattered either. But because it was too small and too light, it was sent flying directly into a ring of gravity traps and disabled by gravitational imbalance.
The best news was that the leaders of two great empires were aboard that planet and ship respectively. Both of them now had their heads ringing—not from worrying about affairs of state, but purely from the collision.
The situation had become rather awkward.
They had come to attack Earth, but before they had even fought Earth, the supreme leaders of the two empires had collided first. For now, it could barely be called a draw. Neither side had gained anything.
The more troublesome part was that the Skrull Emperor had been knocked away and was trapped in a gravity trap. Feather Star was not much better off. After that collision, it had lost its shield, and more importantly, the planet itself had no propulsion. After ramming someone, it could only remain where it was, surrounded by Skrull Empire capital ships.
The culprit, Earth, had slipped away after throwing it out to smash into someone. It now hovered not far away, spinning quietly and watching the show.
"Your Majesty! Your Majesty!! The planetary shield has broken!! What... what do we do?!" A noble rushed in, scrambling in panic. "Those Skrull Empire capital ships have already aimed their cannons at us! If we take even one shot, the entire planet will fall apart!"
"What are you panicking for?" Lilandra said. "We didn't do it on purpose. I'll go talk to their emperor!"
