First, Death Angel Paul could be ruled out. What he had done could hardly be called Batman-like. Then could that kid named Tony from the original story be Batman's Inheritors?

In the original work, Tony was Bane's son. He could barely count as an orphan, and he was also the leader of the resistance. In the original story, he was the one who had rushed into the cathedral and saved that Broken Bat. He seemed like a decent person. Perhaps he really was Batman?

Schiller thought the youth in the jacket who had run past him earlier was probably Tony. Judging by the smell of blood he had caught, the kid probably would not get far. So should he turn around and save Tony now?

Then Batman watched helplessly as he raised the wrench and began hammering the iron rack.

"No! Wait!" Batman shouted.
