Batman's slightly complicated tone pulled Schiller back to reality. It kept Agent from kicking Pride and Greed out of the surface consciousness right away. He had to take control of the body again and force a smile at Batman. "I'm fine. How do you feel?"
"I can't say I've adapted well to this body." Batman gently shook his head. "But with the nanotech equipment assisting me, I think I'll adapt quickly. Can you tell me about the current situation in the city?"
"Of course." Schiller nodded. "There are currently three factions in the city: the Holy Order led by Death Angel Paul, the League of Assassins led by Lady Shiva, and the resistance led by Tony. So far, all three leaders are dead, but their lower-ranking members are still fighting throughout the city."
At that point, Schiller seemed to recall something else. "However, there's a fourth force hiding behind the scenes."
"I know." Batman said. "The Batman who came to rescue me and I were both defeated by them."
Schiller's eyes lit up. "Do you know who they are?"
"That Batman seemed to know, but he never told me." Batman shook his head. "All I can tell you is that they possess many strange powers. And the stronger you are, the stronger they become."
"Can you tell me in detail what happened when the two of you fought side by side? Maybe I can analyze some useful intelligence."
