Main Universe Batman and Arkham Batman had both been badly caught in the blast. Bruce, who had only just flown over, and the Injustice Batman he had brought with him were injured as well. Of course, Owlman had suffered the worst. Mephisto's power had exploded directly inside his body. To put it plainly, all his meridians had been shattered, and he was still unconscious.

Schiller began treating their wounds. Main Universe Batman's arm injury was quite serious; he probably would not be able to write or exercise strenuously for the next few days. Arkham Batman had broken ribs and would likely need to stay in bed for a couple of days too.

Injustice Batman had suffered the least because he had been moving slowly, but being blasted away and hitting the ground had still left him with plenty of scrapes and bruises. As for Bruce, since he had flown over on wings, his wing injuries were the worst. Most of the feathers on the two wings on his right side had fallen out, and they had been burned as well. His howls in the school infirmary could be heard throughout the main castle.

What Schiller found most unbearable was applying medicine to Bruce. The moment he touched a wing, Bruce fluttered like a moth, flapping six times in a second and sending feathers flying all over the ward.

Ever since waking up, Main Universe Batman's gaze had remained fixed on Owlman. He did not kill, but Schiller could see a trace of hope in his eyes that Owlman would sleep forever.

Obviously, something had exceeded his expectations, Schiller thought. Probably the power of the explosion.
