The day before setting out for Arkham Batman's world, Schiller received Lucifer in his office at the sanatorium. He placed a cup of coffee before Lucifer. Lucifer merely ran his fingers along the side of the cup, looking utterly dead inside.
"Director Chris dragged you into another discussion about the War of Fallen Angels?" Schiller found his expression rather amusing. "If you knew what he said to me, you'd think your experience was nothing."
"What did he say?"
"He said he wanted every one of my personality traits to go out and discuss things with him one by one, so he could find the most suitable one when performing."
Lucifer sprayed out a mouthful of coffee, though he did seem a little more energetic afterward. He sighed and said, "The people in your universe are insane. I just want to go home now."
"Don't be in such a hurry. There's one more thing I'd like to ask your help with," Schiller said. "Do you have a Moon God over there?"
"A Moon God? You mean the kind from mythology? Probably not, but Heaven has Angels specifically responsible for celestial movements. Why do you ask?"
"I want the status of a Moon God," Schiller said. "Simply put, I want the ability to control moonlight in your world."
Lucifer did not seem troubled. He merely asked, "Why do you suddenly want to become a Moon God?"
"Batman came to me and hoped I could go over and help keep watch. But an ordinary person's identity inevitably lacks much deterrence. He wants me to join the Justice League as a superhero so his next moves will be more convenient. I think Moon Knight would be a pretty good identity. What do you think?"
"What kind of power do you specifically want?" Lucifer asked.
