"Her ability to walk has returned?" Natasha blurted out instinctively. Then she realized that this was what Schiller had told her to wait for.
Schiller took the report and glanced through it. There was nothing unusual about the photos of the six footprints; they looked like the traces left by an ordinary person walking. What was unusual was that the footprints belonged to Barbara Gordon.
Barbara had been unable to walk and could only use a wheelchair. Therefore, there were only two possibilities for walking footprints belonging to her to appear on the ground: either her legs had recovered, or someone had forged the prints.
Schiller picked up the strand of hair and said to the technician, "Run a DNA test. Though I already know the result."
Natasha looked at him. Schiller said, "Think about it. When we discovered that the mastermind sending those emails possessed extremely advanced network skills, what would a normal person think? Would they really think of Electronic Life?"
Natasha slowly shook her head. "We came here because we have Electronic Life around us. Jarvis is our friend, so he was the first person we thought of. A normal person would probably think the other party was an incredibly skilled hacker."
"Exactly. Didn't I suspect it just now?" Schiller said. "Barbara was a hacker on par with Batman, and there were only a handful of elite hackers like her in the world. If there really was an email source that even Wayne Enterprises and Luthor Corp couldn't trace, she would be highly suspicious."
"Just as we started suspecting her because of those emails from an unknown source, we found her walking footprints in a room containing her hair. We would naturally think that she had regained her mobility and simply hadn't told anyone."
