"Multiple Personality Disorder?" At Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, Stark and Steve looked at each other, then turned together toward Charles, who had named the condition.
"Tony, I remember telling you before that Schiller was mentally ill."
Steve turned to Stark. Stark rubbed his nose and said, "I thought that was an adjective. You know, sometimes he's a little..."
He sighed. "All right, I knew he'd never been quite normal. He has this kind of..."
Stark turned his palm over, seemingly struggling to find a word that could describe the feeling. Several seconds later, he said, "...he tries hard to pretend to be an ordinary person, but his imagination of ordinary people's lives is so lacking that he overdoes it."
"Is it really that exaggerated?" Steve thought back and said, "I think he's pretty normal."
"You know, Peter still thinks his good Doctor is really an ordinary person." Stark shook his head. "Even if he isn't mentally ill, he's definitely a damn liar."
"What I'm more curious about is, if he really has Multiple Personality Disorder, why haven't we seen any of his other personalities emerge before?" Steve looked at Charles and asked.
"Generally speaking, patients with Dissociative Identity Disorder develop other personalities after receiving some kind of stimulus. Perhaps certain stimuli also brought his other personalities to the surface."
"Stimulus? What kind of stimulus has he been through lately?" Stark rubbed his chin. "Though it's possible Hydra affected him, I keep feeling that isn't the right answer..."
"Actually, you could try another method." Charles reminded him, "Have you forgotten? You previously invited me to your laboratory to fine-tune the personality analysis module for your artificial intelligence butler, so it could provide you with psychological and behavioral support."
"I have to admit, you've achieved something truly remarkable in artificial intelligence.
