A taxi with its lights on wound through the streets and alleys, stopping outside a fast-food restaurant. A figure in a blue hoodie flung open the door and sprinted out, stepping through the entrance exactly as the clock struck six.

"Sorry! Sorry! I'm late!" The youth in the hoodie apologized repeatedly. The plump boss waved a hand, grabbed the back of his head, and shoved him into the kitchen. "Hurry up, Little Parker. If we weren't so short-handed lately, I wouldn't have called you in! Get to work!"

"Okay, boss!" he replied. "But, um, I haven't had dinner..."

"Then make yourself a hot dog! Stop asking me about every little thing!"

With a bang, the kitchen door slammed shut. The youth shook his head and said, "All right, time to get to work. You really are like SpongeBob, aren't you?"

After saying that, he hummed a tune, took a hot dog bun from the nearby rack, fried himself a sausage and tucked it inside, then loaded it with ketchup, mustard, and a huge pile of pickles. He took one bite and let out a satisfied sigh.

"Hey! One deluxe double cheeseburger meal for our beloved Spider-Man!" The boss at the register laughed. The youth looked out through the serving window and saw a muscular figure in a skintight suit paying at the counter.

"Peter! It's me!" The figure ran to the serving window and stuck his head in. "I know you work here, so I came by especially! Extra cheese on the beef burger!"

"Don't worry." The youth called Peter gave him an OK sign, gathered the chopped beef into a ball, placed it on the griddle, and flattened it with a spatula. A sizzling sound rose along with the savory aroma.
