After the Batmen left, the school finally enjoyed a rare period of peace. However, the students who had joined later still caused plenty of trouble due to their lack of understanding of magic. This left Strange unable to leave the school; he needed to stay on standby as the emergency response team.
Strange's leisure life was truly dull. Back when he was a doctor, he neither attended dinners nor socialized. When he was in the operating room, he performed surgeries; when he left it, he went home. Once home, he took part in no entertainment activities either—an hour of jogging on the treadmill, a little television if he had time, and then bed.
After becoming the Sorcerer Supreme, aside from managing Kamar-Taj and occasionally inspecting work at the Sanctum Sanctorum, he stayed in his office reading those massive tomes, with the occasional bit of wand and potion research.
That day, he was standing beside the cauldron in the Principal's office, testing the properties of the fourth batch of magical mushrooms, when someone knocked on the office door. He answered without looking up, but when he raised his eyes, he saw Jarvis.
"Why are you here?"
