In the biology lab at Stark Tower, Peter stared blankly at a pile of hay on his desk. Connors walked over and asked, "What's wrong with you? Why have you been spacing out so often lately?"

"And what are these? Didn't I remind you not to bring all sorts of random junk into the lab?"

"This isn't junk. I'm conducting an experiment..."

"Oh? What kind of experiment?" Connors asked as he removed his Gauntlet. Peter stared dazedly at the messy pile of hay before him and said, "Earlier, in... uh, a Dream, I saw them using strange materials together with magic to brew miraculous potions."

"Some could make people fall unconscious immediately, some could cure a cold right away. I heard the teachers there say that certain potions could make people lucky, or even extend their lifespan."

"I was thinking, there are materials in reality, and there's magic in reality too, so why can't we brew potions like that?"

Connors adjusted his glasses and said, "Peter, having imagination is a good thing."

As he spoke, he walked over and fiddled with Peter's hay. "But you can't expect these things to turn into the miraculous potions you described out of thin air. Even with magic, I don't think it would work."

"Exactly, I found that too. Earlier, I had Mr. Stark use that magical energy core of his to channel power into these things, but they didn't react at all."

"Mr. Stark said magic seems to care about something like... affinity? If they aren't special materials, magic won't react with them."

Peter leaned against the table, propping his chin on one hand. "Looks like I made things too simple. No matter how wonderful a Dream is, it's still a Dream. Once it reaches reality, there are too many problems."
