When Jörmungandr first heard these terms, he was rather bewildered. He was like a Master who had gone into seclusion to cultivate, only to open his eyes and find that the whole world had changed.
Wasn't Earth supposed to be some remote backwater where even birds wouldn't bother to shit? What were those things on the sea? What were those things on land? And what were those things in the sky?
Though he possessed extraordinary intelligence, he had no gift for foresight. He had never imagined that in merely a few thousand years, humanity would undergo such enormous changes, and that this tiny planet would become so prosperous.
But none of that interested Jörmungandr in the slightest. He only wanted to return to Asgard and avenge himself. After spending a long time talking past each other with the Sanctum Sanctorum, Jörmungandr finally figured out what exactly was going on.
Humanity had created a strange organization for communicating with all kinds of Cosmic Demons. It provided them with all sorts of peculiar services and had already amassed a large number of clients.
