Blood sprayed from her chest, staining the long hair behind her red. After her arms twitched twice, they fell limply to the ground. The direction in which she raised her head was precisely toward Thor's cell.
Thor watched as the light gradually faded from her eyes. Then he heard the general say in a disdainful tone, "New King?"
"Loki, you are unworthy."
"You never were."
He shook his spear, then turned and left, never noticing that as Loki's life faded away, the magical barrier gradually dispersed.
