Arkham Batman only understood why he had made it here so smoothly after seeing their condition: that pack of crazed Schillers had been lured away by their teammates and opponents.
Erik's upper body was drenched in blood, looking as though his lungs had been torn out and stuffed back in; Jack held his own left hand and half a shoulder in his right hand, grimacing as he picked at his exposed shoulder blade; Constantine had either coughed up blood or vomited out his entire stomach—either way, he was covered in fragments of internal organs; one of Doctor Strange's eyeballs was missing, and he was using Dream Power to form a new one and put it back.
Arkham Batman did not even particularly want to ask what had happened to them. Just looking at those injuries, he could imagine how brutal the battle had been. Unsurprisingly, the damage had come not only from their opponents, but from their teammates as well.
Of course, the opponents here did not refer to the two sides fighting each other, but to the conflict between humanity and Schiller. With someone capable of manipulating emotions involved, getting carried away and accidentally hurting allies was all too easy.
But this was clearly not the time to dwell on that. Arkham Batman walked over and said, "Let's call a temporary truce. Once we find that door, we each rely on our own abilities. How about it?"
The three people across from him did not have the strength to answer at all. After Dream Power Doctor Strange recovered for a while, he nodded and said, "If I had known this dream would be like this, I never would have started this competition. You could say I dragged you all into this."
