The unending snowstorm had crippled the transportation systems of every city. Most companies had shut down, and people stayed home.

Even in cities where it was not snowing, the cold air left the locals deeply uncomfortable. Compared to running out into the streets in the middle of the night to freeze, staying curled up at home watching television was far more pleasant.

Yet one place was an exception: outside the Metropolis Mayor's Mansion. At that moment, the broad street was packed with traffic, with all kinds of luxury cars parked along it.

Bruce smiled and gave him a hug. "Yes, Mr. Luthor. I remember that at that charity exhibition, you generously opened your wallet..."

"Just call me Lionel."
