It took Schiller a full ten minutes or so to accept the current situation. Put simply, the Milky Way Galaxy needed to build an expressway, and Earth had become an obstacle in its path. To complete the road, they had to find a way to deal with Earth.

As the saying went, "If you want to get rich, build roads first." Everyone knew that road construction took priority over everything else. So even if Earth was what stood in the way, Schiller would first consider how exactly they ought to deal with it.

Fortunately, Earth could move, so it did not have to face the fate of destruction. But while Earth could move, it could not keep moving forever. It needed somewhere to stay. Its original location was going to be turned into an expressway, so it could only relocate.
