The moment Billy and Little Jack saw Little Morgan, they ran over to play with her. Susan looked around, then asked, "Where's my fellow hometown girl?"
Everyone knew she meant Stark. Both of them had been born on Long Island, New York, making them the most authentic hometown acquaintances. Stark and Reed did not get along, but both thought highly of Susan. Even Stark, who did not judge heroes by their origins, often mentioned that he and Susan were from the same hometown.
"He went to get something for Little Morgan." Pepper shook her head. "You have no idea—when we left today, he recited the names of over thirty sunscreen brands, along with their ingredient lists and effects. I only just found out there were so many sunscreen brands in the world."
Susan immediately laughed. "They're always like that, overly focused on ingredients and chemical reactions. If you want revenge, tell Reed his conclusions. Then they'll definitely argue over whose ingredient list is more scientific until the vacation ends."
Pepper laughed too. Reed and Stark had very different personalities, yet they were alike in certain ways. Pepper and Susan were both socially adept women with high emotional intelligence, so they had endless common topics when it came to complaining about their husbands.
