Behind the microscope lens, an eyeball kept turning. The faint tremors of the tiny particles beneath the slide were visible in full detail. The figure standing before the lab bench straightened up, picked up a test tube beside him, and added a drop of solution to it. At once, white smoke rose from the slide. The figure before the microscope smiled.

He took another petri dish from the cabinet behind him. The instant he dripped the solution into it, the substance inside turned a vivid purplish red. Something seemed to suddenly come alive. He picked up the dish, held it beneath the light, and looked at the tiny, vigorous spores with an evil yet smug expression.

In a dark forest, a tall figure was running for his life. His armor had long since been reduced to tatters, and he struggled through the towering undergrowth.

A flashlight beam flashed, and he lunged forward, dodging two bullets. But blood seeped from his chest. As it flowed onto the ground, its surface glowed faint green under the light, looking strange and sinister.

He struggled, but could no longer get up. Shards from his shattered Helmet carved bloody marks across his face. He clenched his fists tightly and stared helplessly as countless figures in protective suits, carrying rifles, drew closer and closer.

With a click, the lights came on, illuminating the lab bench in the center of the room. The medical staff behind the observation window outside the room were fully armed. Two generals stood at the door, discussing something.

"Inject him with more of the gemstone powder solution. We absolutely cannot afford another mistake. The first living alien research subject is our most valuable specimen. It can bring us unimaginable profits. Keep a close eye on him, understand?"
