Batman did not walk over. Instead, he threw a Batarang at the pile of things. The expected explosion did not occur; they merely scattered across the floor with a rustle.

The round plush toy rolled across the floor a few times before coming to rest by the wall. A bat-shaped lollipop wrapped in colorful paper fell to the ground with a crisp clatter, its wrapper gleaming beneath the lights.

Even Batman found this scene difficult to understand, but having crossed paths with the Joker several times, he knew that the best defense against that madman was not to overthink things.

He understood the reasoning, but asking Batman not to think too much was practically impossible. In the end, he still walked over and picked up one of the toys for inspection.

There was no bomb hidden inside either. It was merely an ordinary plush toy: a round bat body with two chibi bat wings. The other two toys were Batman figurines, one a regular Batman and the other a Batman laughing heartily.

After examining the three toys, Batman picked up several lollipops. He discovered that one had its wrapper torn off and appeared to have been licked a few times. For some reason, it had not been finished and had simply been thrown here.

After inspecting everything, Batman found no useful clues. He merely gained a new understanding of the Joker's degree of madness.
