When Schiller walked into Stark's room, Stark was leaning against the bedside, looking at something, and his complexion was not as bad as before. Schiller smiled at him, sat down by the window, and said, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine," Stark said. "I figured out long ago that the Mutants must have done it themselves. Most of that weakness was just an act. I was basically recovered already."

"How did you figure it out?"

"I'd had my suspicions before. Remember when we discussed why the Mutants chose to build a hot spring when they were beset by troubles from within and without? Charles wouldn't do something that ignored priorities like that, unless building the hot spring had another purpose."

After a brief pause, Stark continued, "But the key evidence was still the energy I drew out of the engine. That was definitely something Erik had stuffed in there himself. I know that one well."

"Good thing you went down there," Schiller said. "If Local Iron Man had been the one to extract the energy, he might have noticed something was wrong."

"He wouldn't have noticed a thing," Stark snorted softly. "Charles isn't that careless either. The energy he poured into the engine was just enough to destroy an ordinary Iron Man suit, and that room would definitely have been swallowed by lava. By then, the dead would tell no tales."

"But," Stark said with a sigh, "it's not like he was worried Iron Man would die in there and the Avengers would go berserk..."

"Of course he wasn't worried. There are too many people who could save Iron Man. Me, for example." Schiller shook his head and said, "I knew long ago that this was Charles's handiwork, so I couldn't possibly just let Iron Man die in there. The
