"This..." Charles stared wide-eyed at the ship, which could not possibly be called "small." His expression shifted several times before finally settling into one of extreme complexity. Then he said, "No, I can't accept it."
"Although I don't know how you got it, I imagine the process was very dangerous. And if it really can travel through the dream world as you said, then it's an incredibly valuable means of transportation. It's far too precious. I can't take it."
Charles's reaction did not exceed Schiller's expectations. The fact that Charles could single-handedly raise the Radiance Alliance's moral bottom line above the average proved that he was a noble person.
"Don't misunderstand, Professor. I'm not giving you this ship. It's just that even if I own it, I can't spend every day running around the dream world. It would be a shame to leave it sitting idle, so you can borrow it as a school bus."
"And since I happen to need this ship right now, I assume you wouldn't mind serving as a temporary captain for a magical journey through dreams?"
Hearing that, Charles relaxed instead. He smiled and said, "Of course. I'm actually curious about the dream world too. This place is so mysterious, but I've been too caught up in the bustle of the real world to have time to explore it."
"Believe me, Professor. With your abilities, even in the dream world, few could stand against you. And with this ship, we'll be free to roam wherever we please."
The two men smiled and shook hands, reaching a perfect agreement. Meanwhile, Mark, Jack, and the hippopotamus on the ship all sighed together.
Mark turned to the hippopotamus and said, "I'm guessing that if you went down there now and told them the ship wasn't theirs, you probably..."
