After Superego threw Schiller out, the gods who shared the same Pope sat atop the High Tower and began watching the show.

They were only a small stool away from looking like old men sitting under a tree to cool off after dinner. Some sunflower seeds would have made it perfect.

One of humanity's greatest traits was that they lived short lives. Another was that despite their short lives, they knew how to have a wild time. Even if these gods did nothing but stare at human cities, they could find endless entertainment—let alone Cat City Gotham, chaos among chaos, freedom among freedoms.

But don't forget, there was still a grudge between two people that had yet to be settled: Lex and Moonlight Schiller.

Lex hoped the exam would end right there, but Moonlight Schiller could not stand having his work interrupted halfway through. So he wanted to drag Khonshu back into that room and continue chopping Lex up.

No one knew whether Khonshu regretted choosing the most combat-capable Pope now, but one thing was certain: on Schiller's own turf, inside his Mind Palace, Khonshu had no advantage whatsoever. His staff was split apart again.

Just as Jörmungandr was about to laugh at him, he saw an enormous blade of light heading straight toward him. A genius teenager who got restless without fighting had been released from the asylum. As a result, the two gods who had not chosen the strongest Pope suffered as well.
