In the elegant English-style study, the faint morning light filtered through the deep red curtains. The polished wooden floor had been well maintained, every grain clearly visible.

Pinpricks of light shone through the gaps between the solid-wood bookshelves and display cabinets. As they fell across the figure before the desk, they illuminated the pattern on his pajamas and the Black Cat in his arms.

Without the preceding story, this scene could have seamlessly transitioned into filming The Godfather. But the truth was that one man and one cat had fought all night, and neither had gotten any proper sleep.

The reason they had ended up asleep in the study was not because they had turned enemies into friends or forged some bond. It was because Schiller had finally had enough of Bat-Cat wrecking the house, so he knocked him out with Mad Wine and dragged him into Dream to fight.

Keeping a Batman as a pet?

If you heard that question, seriously considered whether it could be done, and even felt a little tempted, all that could be said was that while people were free to have whatever pet preferences they liked, you should probably see a Doctor.

Batman's Character Design was pretty cool in comics. Plenty of readers liked this kind of protagonist, steeped in darkness and possessing an invincible Riddler-like style. But if he existed in reality, getting beaten up three times every time he went outside would not be unusual.

Many people hated the Riddler trophies in Batman games so much that they even shouted, "Riddler, get out of Gotham!" But if your family member, lover, or even pet were Batman, it would be like having to complete the Riddler's side quests every day—hundreds of them a day, with new ones refreshing the next day.
